Technical know-how

Clausmark has established know-how in numerous leading technologies.

  • Multi-layer client/server application development. We create multi-layer client/server applications for all major operating systems (Windows, Linux, Mac OS X etc.) Depending on the requirements of the system environment, we create rich client and/or thin (web) client solutions with web interface. For rich client solutions we prefer the Toolkit Qt from Trolltech as a development environment. Applications created with Qt are user-friendly, have fast response times and the ability to work offline without a network connection. Since the code is executed natively applications run fast and are able to operate efficiently on older hardware. The application can also be integrated as an ActiveX component in a standard web browser. This allows the application to be automatically updated from a web server.

    The application of ASP.NET in thin client development guarantees high development productivity through the object oriented .NET framework. The .NET framework also allows easy creation of web services. Furthermore, we have expertise in Java and J2EE as well as in general web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, etc.).
  • Databases. We cover the entire spectrum of database development (design, implementation, tuning). Through our innovative interface between business logic and database our software solutions can run different database types. We prefer to work with Microsoft SQL Server and ORACLE.
Integration and interfaces

Enterprise information systems span across several applications that store their data in various databases and other storage systems. Integrating these different data sources makes new and higher quality data evaluation possible. Another result is simplified data entry and considerable cost savings. To enable fast and easy implementation of the integration solution we use the following tools.

Business Content Adapter. In the Clausmark Business Content Adapter (BCA), we have created an open, scalable component for the easy linkage of your databases and other applications. The BCA makes the data available across the entire system and all applications. This in turn reduces the number of interfaces required considerably. Through the use of web services, standard applications such as SAP can also be connected to the BCA.

Enterprise Application Integration. In very complex, heterogeneous system constellations, in which applications from various manufacturers are connected and there are very high demands on transaction security, we recommend the use of an EAI (Enterprise Application Integration) tool.

The TIBCO EAI Tool offers complete adapters for all major enterprise applications. For systems that are not directly supported by TIBCO, we develop customer-specific adapters.

TIBCO enables the definition of arbitrary data flows. This allows easy deployment of enterprise processes spanning multiple applications.
